Adelaide Hills Markets: Our Monthly Sunday (and Saturday) Guide

The Adelaide Hills markets are small, friendly and free to wander, and there’s one on most weekends if you know which week to go. This is the cheat sheet we keep on the fridge: five village markets, which week of the month each one runs, and how long they’re open. Expect plants, jams, baking, crafts, local produce, and usually coffee and something to eat.

The quick list

  • Mylor Market: first Sunday, 9am–1pm
  • Uraidla Producers Market: first and third Sundays, 10am–3pm
  • Oakbank Market: second Saturday, 9am–2pm (not January, June, July or August)
  • Meadows Country Market: second Sunday, 9am–2pm
  • Stirling Market: monthly on a Sunday, 10am–4pm (usually the fourth Sunday)

Stirling Market

  • Area: Druid Avenue, Stirling
  • Cost: Free entry
  • Time needed: 2–3 hours
  • Best time: Sunday, 10am–4pm
  • Official link: Stirling Market

The biggest and best known, run by volunteers along Druid Avenue. There’s live music, food, plants, art, jewellery and fresh produce. It’s usually the fourth Sunday, but not always: the upcoming dates are 25 October, 22 November and 20 December 2026, then 24 January and 28 February 2027. Their site keeps the full list.

Uraidla Producers Market

Locally made crafts, fresh produce and plants, and a chance to meet the growers. While building works are underway at the Uraidla Institute, it’s being held in the Uraidla Show Hall.

Mylor Market

A proper community market on the oval: plants, homemade gifts, crafts, preserves, baked goods and home-grown produce. On a first Sunday you can do Mylor in the morning and Uraidla after lunch.

Meadows Country Market

Running since about 2004, with stalls spread through the hall’s rooms and out into the car park. You’ll find jams and chutneys, fruit and veg, antiques, books, plants and a BBQ, plus a café corner with scones and plenty of seating.

Oakbank Market

Artisan, homemade and craft stalls inside and out, with live music, a raffle, face painting and local food and coffee. Every visit helps support the hall. Note that there’s no market in January, June, July or August.

Pairs with: a drive. Oakbank sits right on the Onkaparinga Valley route in our Adelaide Hills scenic drives. For fresh produce every week rather than once a month, see our Adelaide farmers markets. Near Stirling? Crafers Bakehouse and Mount Lofty Summit are both in our bakery and lookout pairings.
